Dan Fraga is an outstanding superhero artist for Marvel, Extreme Studios and DC comics His love for comics makes him inspiered him to return with this wonderful graphic novel with unique structure titled The Grave.
The Grave is about transformation, the journeys that we take in life, and hopefully lessons that we learn from them he claims. In the grave we follow three friends on their las weekend of summer before they start high school as freshmen. These friends celebrate their last days by going camping in the hills of their hometown. During their first night, they find a buried trunk that contains items including a cigar box filled with interesting trinkets (a coin, pocket knife, a manga comic, a ring, a baseball card and a watch). Its through these trinkets that we learn about the life of who the trinkets belonged to-the person who is buried in the grave.
